1. What is a Bag Lady??
The other day I heard some women talking about being a bag lady. I just want to share with you what happened to me. I am also a bag lady. The first place I always go in a store is to the bags and purses or wherever I am, flea marketing, internet surfing, just about anywhere. But until a couple weeks ago I never realized how evident it was that I was a bag lady.
I recently returned from my daughters and while there we of course went shopping. And of course I found a purse that I could not resist. It is really cute and has leather bows on the side giving it an effect of those bows are attached to a leather strap that can be pulled to close the purse. It has the leather straps also for the handle.
About a week after I came home, my ten year old granddaughter who lives in the same town as we do, came over and exclaimed, “Grandma, where did you get that purse, will you please give it to me, please, please?” She knows that usually does the trick and I give in, but I really liked this purse, so I told her when I got done with it, she could have it. She said, “Okay, I will just wait until next month when you get another one, then I can have this one.” I told her it would be longer than that, but her Grandfather agreed with her.
Well, a week later I was invited to a purse party, have you ever been to one???? It is a hoot and we had so much fun. Of course I took my granddaughter with me. She carried my purse and told everyone it was hers as soon as we left. At any rate, they had about a foot high on a long table just about every imaginable color and texture of place mats. Anyway that is what they looked like to us. First you picked out your place mats, 1 for small purse and 2 for large one. Then you had to pick out any embellishments that you wanted to put on it like fur or string of beads or large pins, (without the pins in the back to pin it on with), just all kinds of things. Our next place was to go to the strap table and pick out the kind of straps that you wanted on your purse.
Well, here is what we came up with. We picked out two place mats of black leather that had two horizontal seams going one way and then the other so they crossed in the center. The purse lady said in sewing them they took quite a bit of the bottom for the bottom of the purse so we didn’t get to keep the exact crossing of the seams in the middle. So we picked a large round silver medallion looking, to put in the center. My granddaughter picked out the strap, which ended up being like a bracelet with segments being about two inches long. Every other one was black and the opposite was clear.
Much to my Granddaughters disappointment, we had to leave it all there for the lady to take to get sewed. So now she has to wait 3-5 weeks before it is done. But at lease she knows she will get Grandma’s purse in the month range.

3. Are You Ready To Work From Time Wise????
When you begin to work from home, it probably seems like you are going to be able to work any time you want. It might seem like a wonderful luxury to be able to sleep a bit longer and to start work in your bathrobe. It is very nice indeed to not be tied down to a bosses schedule or to have to decide things based upon what a boss says you can and can not do. Its also nice to be able to get work done in advance and take a few days off of work without having to worry about whether or not anyone is going to miss you at the office.
However, finding time to get your work done can actually end up being something of a hassle. Suddenly, when you start to work from home, there are things that need to be done at home and you find yourself needing to do them. There are errands to be run that you never had time to do before you started to work from home and there are things that you are trying to get finished that you think you can put work aside in order to do. You might find that its hard to find the time to work from home, because suddenly there is a lot more to do than you thought there was.
A good thing to do is to set a schedule for yourself and for your work day. Yes, its nice to be able to work at home and therefore to not have to do any work when you don not want to. However, we do need a schedule and a routine to make sure that we are getting everything done that needs to be done in our lives. In order to make sure that you are getting your work done, a schedule is something that is going to benefit you. You can still choose when you want to work, just make sure that you pick a big enough amount of time to get your daily work done, and then make that time of each day your actual work time.
Unplug the phone and try not to surf the web also, turn off the television and actually be at work. Even if you are in the comfort of your own home if you can do something that makes it feel like you are at work you are going to see that you are benefiting from being at work and able to get your work done. This is something that is very important because if you don not have a set time to do your work each day, there is a chance that you are not going to get your work done and that working from home will end up being less profitable than it could be.

But you are probably asking yourself if you can really have success with a home based business.The answer to this question is simple, yes. If you know what you are doing and take your time, you can have success running a home business. Unfortunately, it is not always
as easy as it may seem. You are going to run into problems from the very beginning, and there are going to be times when you think about giving up.
The first thing that you need to do when setting up a home business is to make a decision on what you want to concentrate on. In other words, what is your business going to do? This is a question that can sometimes be hard to answer. The majority of people want to do something that they like, but at the same time they do not know how to get started. You need to remember that in order for your home business to be a success you have to like what you are doing. If you do not like your home business idea, why move forward in the process? You will simply end up in the same situation that you are in with your current job.
Also, a successful home business needs time to grow. You should never think that you are going to take off within a couple days of opening up shop. It is going to take you a bit of time to get your bearings and take off. For this reason, patience is very important to the success of your home business. With patience you will be able to wait out the rough times that are bound to show up time and time again. No home business starts making big time money in the first day. But if you take your time you will get to where you want to be.
Overall, you can have a lot of success with a home business. It may not be easy at first, but as time goes by you will become comfortable with what you are doing. Sooner or later you will be making profits on your own.
