Before I continue, I need to tell you that this is not a review site trying to lure you into reading this page and then convince you to buy Legit Online Jobs. Let me be frank. I won’t buy this product if I were you. I’m just using this product for discussion purpose.

How to identify online scams?

In the past, it was pretty easy to identify scams. Scammers usually use beautiful stock photos for their testimonials. Their graphic editing skills are so poor that it is obvious that the earning proofs are doctored.

However, today’s scammers are smarter and they can produce fake testimonials and fake earnings like real!

The only way to decide whether a product is a scam is by studying its business model.

Below are some online business models typically used by scammers (or I should say opportunists).

1) Ponzi scheme

A Ponzi scheme usually takes money from you and promises that you will earn more later. The extra money paid to you usually comes from the subsequent members who join the scheme. This means new members are supporting old members.

For example, if a company promises that you will earn $500 every month and you only have to invest $10,000 one time, it’s obviously a scam.

Such a business model is not sustainable and the company will soon run out of cash. Yet, many people choose to believe in such a model.

Nowadays, there are many different forms of Ponzi scheme, from HYIP to paid autosurf programs.

Basically, when joining such programs, you have to ask yourself whether the business model is sustainable. If you can’t think of a logical reason why the business is sustainable, chances are it’s a scam.

Now, here's a quick tip on how you can use this technique to build your subscriber list quickly. Require people to register for your software (in this case your ebook is considered software) before they are able to read your ebook. Well, guess what, just like anything else in life, you need to follow certain guidelines, certain rules to assure your internet marketing success. It's not easy, not by a long shot. Having your own home based business takes alot of determination, hard work and a positive attitude. The money doesn't start flowing in in just a week of having your new site up on the internet. There are so many Internet and work at home opportunities out there today that it’s hard to believe that there is anything promising or legitimate. I'm sure you have run into hundreds of sites and emails that promising to make you rich overnight. However after a closer look, you realize these ads are full of more you know what than a fertilizer factory! It certainly can be very frustrating and even discouraging.

Never fear! There are always a few good apples in bunch of rotten ones. When looking for home business opportunity it’s always a good idea to do your research on Google. And believe me, it’s not as hard as it may seem. Google is not intimidating and is your friend. It’s one of the best search engines out there and it really is a great investigative tool for Internet and work from home scams. Here's what to do:

Go to the search box and type in the company’s name or website address and then scams. So as an example, let's say do a search for $200 Per Day Marketing Blueprint or 200blueprint.com and scams in Google. If there is anything off base about this work from home opportunity, or if they have done some not so legal things, Google will be able to find any news about this. You will then be able to make an informed decision and decide which work from home opportunity you would like to get involved with.

When reading these reviews, read carefully and form your own opinion. Many times people will make complaints just because they never made any money. This does not mean scam. Just because a person didn't make any money it could just mean they didn't have what it takes or that they just chose not to do the work. Making money on the internet, especially when first starting out, is hard work and takes alot of effort. If you really want it, then go for it. Work at it and in time, start living success.  It's not always that the opportunity is a scam.

Ask questions, search out people to contact and speak to directly. Most times on a legitimate site or even in an email you can find contact information. I strongly suggest contacting someone and asking questions or sharing your concerns with them. If you don't like the answers, well then, decide against that opportunity. If you get some truthful answers which are backed up with statistics, or other people's contact that you can talk with as well, this may just be what you are looking for. Give it a shot, but remember, make that commitment.

Everyday! Take the time to set up a daily checklist of
tasks than need to be done (and will get done). Write it

Getting involved with the right group of people is a major factor
as well. There are many internet marketers that are shysters. They
will attempt to get you involved, take your money and then you
will never hear from them again. Google their names, find out what
you can. People that are honest and successful will be there, with
full support and mentoring.

Working from home and making money online can be prosperous and
fun. But it takes alot of discipline and hard work. The desire to
succeed must be there, and all else will fall right into place.
